On going Projects
Okoto Dance Company organises Seminar and Workshop for young and up-coming artistes. The Director gives talks and present papers on African dance techniques. He has taught Nigerian dances in many high schools and colleges and have groomed many schools cultural groups.
The company also engaged itself in annual dance workshop and dance training for the secondary ane primary school students tagged " E wa ba wa jo". The last edition was a good success.
Soon Okoto Dance Comapny will start a residency proramme, this is an avenue for international dancers and choreographers to work with us in Nigeria and in good atmospher. Our new ultra modern dance studio will cater for this, but still on construction.
